First I've copied your information to a file on my system and shortened your message for readability.

Sorry for the inconvience. I don't see anything obvious from the posted information, but will work with you to track down the cause.

1) Which build are you running?
2) Frame or GOP accurate cutting?
3) Can you re-run the edit with "debug" checked on the Tools>Options>Advanced Stream dialog? Email the log file (as an attachment) to us at support@videoredo.com
4) What capture card are you using?

I suggest you save your edits as a project file so that the issue can be duplicated quickly.

Just purchased a license for VideoReDo. Awesome app. Just a problem opening certain files. I captured approx. 2 hours of video from dvb stream and broke them up into 756 meg files which resulted in 4 files. I can open and manipulate all but one which gives me the "video ring buffer overflow".

I have had this problem several times using different captures and file sizes.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanx.

When you get a Video Buffer Overflow, the first thing to do is to double the size of the video buffer. This is done via a checkbox on the Tools>Options>Advanced Stream page.

If that doesn't help, then please email a copy of your log file (as an attachment) to support@videoredo.com
