On my system, it crashes with ordinary quicktime files (6.5.2 has no problem playing these), and I had to manually remove a couple of things from the registry before I could uninstall it.

Sorry to hear that it's not working on your system.

It seems to work ok with my sorenson .mov files and the quicktime trailers on apple's site. It doesn't want to play mpeg-2 files but I think Apple uses it's own mpeg-2 codec ($20).

I really like the HD quicktime movie trailers.

I downloaded a couple of the new QT hd clips. Looked good but no audio. Any ideas?. I too hope that vrd will come to support this format
