I have videoredo tv suite....im using homeserver and wmc to xbox 360 extender.
also am using xbmc on first gen xbox.
converting vob's to mpeg is the only way i go since the drv-ms audio is not working right for teh first gen xbox.
my question is. when combining the vobs from a 4.67gb directory...and have ti autocombine/join quicksteam and save I get an mpg about 1.5gb in size.
is this as lossless as I can get? Or do i have to set something up to retain more of the filesize.

Is this a commercial or home-recorded DVD?
If a home recorded DVD, try using open file and combine, then load the VLST file into QuickStream Fix.

commercial dvd.
lets say I use dvd shrink...rip a dvd-9 to a single vob.
I am left with about a 6gb vob file.
If i do open file and then quickstream....I am left with about a 3.5gb
mpg file.
why not a 6gb mpg file?

Newer DVDs seem to have this issue.
You can try a different method of extraction or rip the main title and open file and combine, then load the VLST file into QuickStream Fix.

I dont load any vlst into qickstream fix....I just choose the automatic way....it does it all on its own. It must create the vlst and load it for me. I just click open file....highlight all my vobs....then click Combine (that includes combine and quickstream) I then get the Cut window. I then hit Tools quickstreamfix....and it starts converting to my Mpg. but I dont have as large of a file as when i started. The whole movie is there.....its just not as large of a file which to me means I am not getting 100% the quality that I started with.

Open title uses the IFO which can be messed up due to your extraction method.
By loading the VOBs directly according to the method I previously described can sometimes circumvent the issue.

Hi all,
I can open dwg drawings but cant save them in the same format.
when I hit the Save As button the dwg option is not even listed.
In the Tools => Options => Associations window dwg. is listed and clicked as associated with AB Viewer Professional.
What do I do wrong?
Thanks
