Hi
I would like to try VRD to see how it compares to womble before i buy an editor for cutting mpeg streams.
I would of course like to use the latest version to avoid any problems that were in build 221 that may affect me and thus save time and problems.
Problem is i cant seem to download build 228. I get a response saying "ISA error , file does not exist " ?
Can anyome give me a clue on how to get hold of build 228. Wheni go thru the downlaod section ont he main page of VRD it will only show 221.exe as the downlaod ?
Many Thanks
Mark
From the main forum menu, there is a topic called "Public Betas". Clicking on that brings you to the list of Betas. The top one is the most recent.
http://www.drdsystems.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=137
In it is a link to the FTP for the public Betas.
Here it is:
ftp://videoredo:videoredo@ftp.drdsystems.com/Betas/
Good luck.

Hi Thanks for the reply
i did try to follow that link before i posted. I tried again but get the same message as before
I get a message saying ISA Sever Error.
I have taken a screen cap of the message . How do i post it here for you to see it ? Alt P wants me to use a url which is not appropriate in this case. I want to post the screen cap off my hard drive. Yeah i know .....noobs....;-0)
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
You should be able to download it from the FTP link that PHD posted, I just double checked it. But a few people do have issues with the way their browser's FTP is configured.
Here's an alternate URL: http://www.drdsystems.com/VideoReDo/InstallVideoReDo-1-5-5-228.exe that should work as well. If you still have problems, please email support at: support@VideoReDo.com

Hey there Dan
That did the trick. I've never used FTP before in all the years i've been tinkering with PC's..imagine.....i'll have to check it out.
I've now got 228 so i'll uninstall 221 and try out the new one. I did install 221 a few weeks ago to try out on a particuarly difficult cap i did. VRD was not able to help with it but neither could ANY other program.
Thing is when i found ReDo i was particuarly impressed with the forum for it and the response you give to your users. This in my humble opinion is invaluable as any issues , problems or bugs can be sorted. This is in stark contrast to some software vendors who take your money and give little if any support. Kudos
Well no doubt i'll be posting away here soon enough with a cry for help.. i find TV cards and post processing the recorded material to be one of the BLACK ARTS.
Again thanks for the quick reply.
Cheers
Mark
Mark, Good luck. Here's the bottom line on the sync. If you can play the program in VideoReDo, PowerDVD or any other software player and its in sync, then VideoReDo should be able to automatically correct it so you can burn it to DVD.
If its out of sync, then you can use the manual sync adjustment in VideoReDo to bring it try and re-sync it.
