Dan,

When I make cuts in a file (removing commercials) then the output file has still a few PTS-erros (according to mpeg2vcr). There is a second remux necessary to fix all PTS-errors (build 228).

Can you tell something about the need to correct GOP time code errors (why Videoredo doesn't do this ?).

Can you tell something about the need to correct GOP time code errors (why Videoredo doesn't do this ?). VideoReDo does re-write the GOP codes. I checked a couple of files with a few different programs that re-write GOP codes and they are all slightly different. We will take another look at VideoReDo's calculation, but it doesn't apprear to be any more incorrect than Womble's or DVDLab. Just slightly different.

Regarding the PTS issue, perhaps you can send us the log file (debug option on) of both edits. There were some additional improvements in the PTS calculation in upcoming Build 230 which should be posted to the beta folder in a day or so.
