Is VRD supposed to also work for PAL vob's?
I have one PAL disk that I have because it was never available in NTSC. Prior to .228, I could not load the vob's into VRD. With the new .228 it will load the vob and might be able to edit OK. But I have not tried yet. That is because the sound is way off. The sound is being played in 'slow motion' - everyone sounds very deep and they talk real sloooow. Much more than a 29.9 vs 25 frames would produce. This DVD is very old and looks very primitive compared to todays fancy standards. It looks like what today wold be a 'home-made' job. So the problem is probably with the encoding on the disk - assuming that PAL is supposed to work in VRD.
