I have been playing around with the codec parameters and don't know how to identify how an mpeg file was encoded. I have encoded files from the tuner cards as well as Adobe Premiere and other apps using a variety of parameters such as vbr/cbr, bit rates, etc. I have long forgotten how a particular file was encoded.

How can I quickly analyze the encoding parms of an mpeg file?

Tools>Show Program Info will give you the maximum bitrate and some other coding parameters. When you output a file (or even a small section) VideoReDo will display the actual video bitrate. We don't display VBR/CBR.
