423 - Change: TS Muxer, Mark the first PCR with a discontinuity bit.


Any specific reason for this ? Any side effects ? I always get nervous when I see Muxer and Discontinuity in the same sentence :)

Any specific reason for this A commercial client asked for this to see if it solved an issue with his hardware playback device. He's outputting multiple streams, back to back, and this bit indicates that a timecode reset is forthcoming. There's an implied discontinuity anyway whenever a new file is opened in a software player.


Any side effects None that I can think of. But if something comes up we will turn it into an option.
