Builds 423 & 426 - No progress bar when saving

In builds 423 and 426, when saving video, there is no progress bar displayed and the time remaining is not shown (only the string "Calculating time remaining..."). The progress bar and time remaining are shown in build 417.

What is the source/capture device for the file?

I used the same file with all three builds. The original source was a standalone DVD recorder (ilo DVDR04). The file I was saving had been extracted from a DVD+RW with DVD Decrypter, had QSF run on it, and was editied with VRD a couple of weeks ago. I simply loaded this file into the three different builds and saved it. Only build 417 showed the progress bar and the time remaining.

I just grabbed a file recorded on a DVD+RW with a Philips recorder. I QSF and edited in 384 originally and outputted with V426. Its showing the time remaining and a progress bar.

Is V426 and V417 taking about the same amount of time to output?

426: 2 min 1 sec.

I've had the same symptom. Tried it on 2 PC's. One uses a GF3 Ti-200 and the other is a new Gforce 6200. Other than the Gforce graphics, the two computers have almost nothing in common. Both are running Win2000 sp4.

Processing time is identical with pre-423 builds. My recordings are from a Hauppauge PVR250 and a MyHD -- no difference in display.

Build 426 displays perfectly for me.

Not sure if it's relevant or not but I have a Radeon 9500 Pro video card and my video stream came from a DVICO Fusion Plus HDTV card.

If I run QSF on the VOB, I do get the progress bar and time displayed.

If I take the QSFed file and load it into VRD in scene mode and select the entire file or select a few scenes, the progress bar and time are NOT displayed when saving. If I take the same QSFed file and save it in cut mode, I do get the progress bar and time displayed. The problem only occurs in scene mode.

I can reproduce it in scene mode. Cut mode is OK.

I can verify the above. In "Scene Mode", I get no progress bar and it never finishes calculating "Time Remaining", while in "Cut Mode", I get both.
