Batch Manager not working on Win98

In the midst of chasing the problem I have on one machine I had in passing mentioned that the batch manager does not work from within VRD on my win98 system. This was before you had your win98 system up and going. Have you had a chance to look at this yet?

If I rename the generated CMD file to bat and execute the file the batch operation works fine. If I select execute from within VRD it stares at me.

I just looked over the release notes for 1.6. Its almost amazing what three months can do when you put it together in one place. Keep up the good work.

I did check out the batch manager on Win98 and had a problem with it myself, but didn't have time to fix it. We started an advertising campaign on www.dvdrhelp.com today, so we wanted to get the new release in place in anticipation of the expected downloads :) :) Didn't want all the folks downloading an old version when we have updated so many things. Will take a look at the batch manager on Win98 in the next couple of days.

You're right, when you look back at 3 months of work in one shot it looks much more impressive than the one by one improvements that go into the betas. There are more features in VideoReDo that didn't make the release. You'll be seeing them over the next few weeks and months.
