Hi everybody

as my 1st post here, I'd like to thank the whole team of VideoRedo and everybody involved with it; VideoRedo is exactly impressive.

here's a question:
I usually record lots of ts files off satellite which are played really fine. Navigation has no delay, and I can easily jump back and forth in really little time defferences.

now after I edit the same ts file and export the video to a mpg one, it takes a long time to go somewhere far from a key frame. there's a lot of calculation going on in the background. my favourite player is "K-Multimedia Player", and I'm forced to turn on "keyframe search" option which has a high tolerance, otherwise I need to stay up to 15 secs for some of my jumps!

Is there any option in VideoRedo Plus for me to play with?

thx in advance and sorry for my bad english

and for the last word, will there be any H264 support for VR Plus in the near future?

What version number of VideoReDo are you using? Help>About

Try the latest VideoReDo Plus Beta available here:

Version: 2. 5. 5. 512 - Mar 28 2007

It was super reliable for me; that's why I'm stuck at it.

Ok. I just updated to the "Version: 4.20.3.596 - Feb 23 2010 AVP-On" of TVSuite; now I'm testing some of ts files and seeking problem still persists.

shouldn't I send you some samples?

thx

solved it at last, just by outputing the video as TS rather than MPG.

there's got to be some problems in the TS==>MPG conversion process.
