Feedback on Beta 436

Version 436 does not crash on exit whereas 435 did & 434 did not.

436 seems to have fixed the crash on exit problem I was having with 435. But I'm still getting the corrupted text in the selection end time (next to the blue "Sel. End" button on the main window).

Yes, the whole application is visible. Usually I just drag a .dvr-ms file and drop it on the application window to open them. But the corruption happens even if I use the File -> Open Video menu. It's not a show-stopper sort of problem at all. I just noticed that it wasn't drawing the time correctly. I'm sure the developers have bigger fish to fry.

In build 436 no crash from splash for me

The QSF file name suff is OK now

And the problem/crash I reported in the other thread is resolved. It seems the particular VOB structure is a bit strange and takes a fair amount of disk activity at start up. The crash may have been me being a bit impatient

V436 crashes when exiting splash screen. Did the .dll thing again and that fixed it. Why does renaming the dlls work?

The VRD crashing on exit is back :(

It started in build 434 and then was fine in build 435, now it crashes on exit from the splash screen in build 436.

Hope you can find the problem and fix it please.

Asus P4PE Motherboard
Radeon 9500 Pro AGP video card
160 gig samsung IDE drive
built in sound card and LAN
DVICO DVB-T Plus HDTV card
Windows XP Pro SP2 fully patched

Did you try the DLL rename? Renaming vrdplus2.dll to vrdplus.dll.

no i didn't. Using build 437 now and the splash screen bug has gone again :)

It would seem that there is not a great deal of difference in the basics
