When I close b455 i now get an error message from windows.

VideoRedo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyone else getting this? Does not happen with 445 or any of the other betas i've tried.

I get the error every time if I open VRD and then close it out without doing anything else, if I do anything else prior to closing it will not give me the error. Started happening only with b455.

Thanks
Mike

It started happening long before v455 and it comes and goes with each version. Dan and company have not quite nailed it down yet but they are working on it.

Your were right, the only time it happens is when I close without doing anything. Thanx

Wiley.

Sometimes it is referred to as crash from the splash screen

That may help

My problem is explorer.exe crashing after exiting the program. It only happens if I attempt to open exporer shortly after closing VRD. I normally want to delete the original show after removing commercials, but explorer.exe crashes within 5 or 10 seconds of opening it.

Every once in awhile VRD crashes on exit, but never when I attempt to open the program.

While I do tend to get the error with VRD (don't know the pattern), version 456, the explorer file manager doesn't crash if it was already open. One of the first things I do after a reboot, is to start explorer. That has yet to crash as a result of VRD.

Thanks for the tip. Now I won't have to screw around with a bunch of error messages after I convert my video.
