no audio at all...

opened the mpeg file (from sage tv) in win media player and works fine but is too large (1.4gigs) so want to split and burn to cd-r's (2). tried opening the mpeg in videoredo and it plays the video but NO SOUND. just to see i trimmed it in half using cut in videoredo (630megs output file size of half the video) and tried playing it in win media player but no sound just the video. any thoughts? thanks in advance.

Hi Jay, Did you also send a support email? If so, please see the email reply. My guess is that you are dealing with LPCM audio. The coding on this is complete and is waiting for beta testing before release. I'll be glad to send you a beta version to try if you want.

Assuming you are recording with LPCM, you should probably re-consider your audio options. LPCM audio is not-compressed audio. Assuming you going to burn SVCDs I suggest you change capture parameters to 44.1KHz MPEG1 Layer 2 audio. This will significantly reduce the file size.
