What is the chance of implementing the feature of having the show data from BeyondTV added back into the edited file?

They have API code from the SDK with a Tutorial, here is the LINK.

That's great, didn't know about that code. We are looking to support EPG data for both BTV and Sage, so this will be very helpful.

I want to strongly second this request. If the data is not added to the new file it is completely impractical to add it manually in Beyond TV.

Be sure that VideoRedo gives you the choice of keeping the info as is or editing it when saving.

One thing I hope to be able to do is to add the episode #. There are websites that give that information. I would also add "nc" to the title for "No Commercials".

I just purchased vrd a couple weeks ago and was very happy to see that working with BTV's metadata is something that you expect to try to do. Being able to preserve the epg info in the mpg file would be really terrific.

I noticed that the thread hadn't been touched on in a while, and I just wanted to let you know that some of us are still interested in this feature.

We hear you, and haven't forgotten about this feature. We are busy fixing our own commericial detection and some other "really neat" features.
