I would like these features in next version

Good ideas, but here are some temporary solutions:

Multiple file output. From one large capture file split the video to
many smaller with unique filenames Our current batch capability will get you very close. First go to Tools>Options>General page. Set the following options:
a) Cut mode, OFF
b) One-click edit, ON.
c) Clear Cuts when queued to batch, On.

Then, open your video. Mark the first segment you want to output and click on Queue To Batch. The cuts will be cleared automatically and you can then proceed to the next segment.

Easier joiner inerface (dont want to open videos to be joined)Try this. Open VideoReDo, but don't load any files, leave it at the splash screen. Then open a seperate file explorer window. Go to the folder that has your MPEG files, select multiple MPEG files and drag them into the VideoReDo window. They will be sorted alphabetically and added to the joiner automatically. Actually don't have to even open VideoReDo. You can only open the file explorer window and drag the files to the VideoReDo desktop icon. VideoReDo will then start automatically and add the files to the joiner list.
