Sorry for posting such a newbie question here but I cannot find the answer in the FAQ or the wiki or here on the forum.

I have Windows XP MCE. Can I use VideoReDo to: shrink the size of the files, and create files that I can then move to my laptop, which does not have Windows XP MCE? Thanks

VideoReDo does not reencode so the only file size reduction you will see is from editing.

You can save the file as an MPEG as opposed to DVRMS.
