I have a show that I am editing out the commercials from. one right at the beginning and then 3 segments about 1, 2 and 4 minutes repectivly. I mark the beginning and end of each segent the press cut selection and it gets added to the list. When I'm done with all the cuts I then "save as" or once added the project to the joiner list and made a video from there. When the save/make video is done, the segments are all out of order and some segments are even broken apart and the pieces are in several spots. All the video is there just mixed up. Adobe Premier Elemnets has no problem with the source video but it is much more tedious than useing your program. Any idea what might be going on here?

Hi
There's a 'cut' mode in the options that you should enable. You should also enable the 'one click' option on the same screen while your at it.

Once you do that, you just mark the beginning and end of each commercial block, then when finished, select 'File' 'Save as' and the program will create the file correctly, without commercials.

You will NOT need to 'add cuts' They will appear on the right side column once you 'Mark In' & 'Mark Out' your commercials.

If you use the 'joiner' option, there are buttons to change the order in which the clips will be joined together, but you probably won't need to do that if you use the first method.

This is strange, we've never heard of it. Please your log file (VideoReDo.log) to support@videoredo..log. Include it as an attachment.

Thanks.

I think this may be an illegal copy. I have just experienced the same problem. I had never heard about VideoReDo until a couple of days ago. I came across a cracked version. So I thought I would try it out and see what it was like. This one is where there is a exe and dll file that you copy in to the VideoReDo folder after you have installed the trial version. When cutting ads I found after saving the mpeg file they were all out of sequence. Then I thought I would re-install the trial again. Same file, same edits points etc. Saved the file and no more out of sequence mpeg file :) So now I am going to try the free version and see why VideoReDo is all the rave. If all goes well then you will have another legitimate, happy customer on your hands soon.

If I'm wrong dslabby, then I apologise. This is just my experience...

I got this copy of your program from a friend on a CD he made not from your site. I too wanted to try it out first. Never had to register so I'm guessing it's the cracked version andsome of the code is shot. It's off my machine and I'll try the trial version. If it works as slick as others have said, you got another customer.

That's interesting behavior. Haven't heard of this problem before so maybe someone tried to patch VideoReDo and messed something up internally.

For the record, VideoReDo is distributed in one setup file. If you have to move or copy files around, its not a valid version.

The trial version works sweet, every thing in the proper place. The copy from my freind must have been the badly cracked version the other member was talking about. Still testing this out but it looks good for my needs. If it can join edited parts from different videos, it will be one.
