Using Videoredo with .xml files from Beyond TV

I just downloaded the trial and would like to use videoredo to take the commercials out of TV programs I record. Anyway, I'm a little confused by the help file, so once I open both the mpeg and the .xml file and the commercials are highlighted in red, how do I simple remove those sections?

After removing selected cuts and saving, I played it back and the cuts weren't removed....

You need to do a Save As in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Got it! I was saving - turns out I was removing the cuts...Thanks!
