Support of .ty files

Does VideoRedo support editing of .ty files rather than having to create mpeg2 system files from the ty file. I have about 100 of these on my PC awaiting editing and would rather not have to convert them all.

.ty files are a propietary tivo format which we do not support. You can convert .ty files to mpeg with tytools and then edit them with VideoReDo.

Try renaming them to .tivo. I think read somewhere that the TiVo DirectShow filter can handle .ty streams. Although I could be misremembering, so don't hate me if I'm wrong. :)
