Edited out commercials from a tv program in Video ReDo Plus. Then burned a DVD in ShowBiz. The DVD quality is very jerky. Never had this problem with ShowBiz before. The problem seems to originate in Video Redo Plus. How do I fix this problem?

I'm not familiar with ShowBiz.
There are certainly many other authoring packaged discussed on this forum, which all do quite well.
A few are even free.
How did you capture your TV shows?
With the show loaded into VideoRedo, could you press Ctrl-L, and paste that info into your next post, please?
Could you try running the raw video through the QuickStream Fix feature of VideoReDo, save the output, reload that into VideoReDo, and then do your edits?
See how that works.
In a bit, one of the company folks might post other suggestions... but this should get you started.
(and, they may want answers to my questions above, too)
Welcome aboard.

I have HP Media Center that came with the computer so that's how I record the tv shows.

Can you author and burn as 2 separate steps? If you can, play back the DVD folder on your hard drive to see if it plays OK.
