When I edit a file on my Topfield it leaves a pixalated frame, and when I run this thru VRD it pauses on the pixalated frame while the counter keeps going. Its also very slow to respond to frame forward- frame back keys. Iam using a amd 3.5 and 512m of ram with a GT7300 video card. Any help would be apprecited.
Have you tried processing the file through QuickStream FIx before editing with VideoReDo?
Have you also considered not editing on the Topfield and performing all of your editing in VideoReDo?

Is it not possible to edit the rec-file on topfield and then edit in Videoredo ?
Yes, try processing the file through QuickStream Fix first. Tools>QuickStream Fix
Since your Topfield was creating pixelated frames during editing, I was offering you a potential alternative method.

I have tried QuickStream Fix but it didnt seem to make any difference. And I like to record a music show that runs for about 6 hours, to transfer that file through Altair would take about 3 hours. Thats before running it through VRD, when there may only be 1or2 clips I would like to keep. The other problem with VRD is when I hit the back or forward buttons its very slow to respond. Thanks for your replys.
Which model Topfield are you using?
What country are you from?
Try installing the latest Beta available here:
http://www.videoredo.net/beta/
Can you also upload 2 files to us. A file that is unedited on the Topfield and the same file after editing on the Topfield.
Could you trim and copy a 30-50MB segments of the original and edited files and upload them to us? Tools>Trim and Copy Source File
Confirm that the Topfield edited trim and copy segment has the same problem before uploading.
ftp://upload:upload@videoredo.net/
Create a folder with a unique name and place the file in it.
Send an email to Support@VideoReDo.com and let us know when it has been successfully uploaded.
