Not saving the whole file

I am using a trial version of videoredo and specifically just want to convert MCE files into either mpeg or divx. WHen saving to mpeg it only does about half of the one hour program and does not report any errors?

It shows that there are (approx) 2mins left, but the conversion then stops well before the end.

I have tried it on several different recordings.

I want to buy the s/w, but only if it does the job - can any one help?
