Hi,

I'm trying out the software and I thought it was going well. Fairly easy to use. My problem/question is this. When I edit an MPEG file (recorded TV) to remove commercials it only seems to be saving 1/2 of the original. The edits are there, but the final file is only 1/2 the length.

If this a function of the demo version, or is there some setting I am missing?

Thanks,

D

Having you registered and obtained a "full trial" key?

If not, then the output is limited. Grab a full trial key (it's free), and then the output time limit will be removed.

Nevermind. I tracked it down. I did not get the evaluation key! Silly me. Works great!

Please don't tell me to get a key, I paid for this junk.
I am trying to edit a series of home-made DVDs down to a short trailer, but can't seem to save even one short cut.
I have used Nero audio editing before, where I was able to simply delete the parts I didn't want after marking and cutting.
But that function doesn't seem to be a part of this package.
Sorry if this is just way too dumb, but I will be grateful for any help!

After editing, have you saved it as a new file?

Here is a guide for editing.

You cannot simply replace the segment on your old DVD. You must author a new DVD.
