Record to Disk on Humax TiVo

I just love VideoRedo and it's ease of use for the technologically challenged!

As I can't stand adverts in TV programs it's wonderful to be able to send shows to my computer via TiVo Desktop and send them back advert free

On thing I have not been able to do is save the redone programs to disk using my Humax TiVo DVR (with built in DVD recorder). I get an "incompatible video and audio format" message.

Is there a way to format the material to be readable within VideoRedo?
I can successfully record to disk using Sonic Video Suite but it's a royal pain and the video quality seems to be reduced.

John, I have a Humax here and will try to replicate what you're seeing. Are you saving the file as a .tivo or a .mpg?
