completely new please help

I just got ver 253501 and am trying to edit some dvd.s I cant get the complete video into video redo Could anybody help how to get the complet
video into the program so I can do some editing.

Are you referring to loading the file into VideoReDo or the output file?

If it is the output file, do you have a trial key installed?

If you are referring to loading the file into VideoReDo, you should process the VOB file through QuickStream Fix first.

Here is a link to information about a program that can help automate the process of copying your files from the DVD to your hard drive and use VideoReDo to QuickStream Fix them for editing.

Start the program and click the "Open DVD" button and navigate to the source folder. The program will only display the 1st VOB containing video and not list the menu VOBs.

The "Copy + QSF" button will copy your file(s) to the hard drive and automatically combine and QuickStream Fix them

After the process is completed, you can click the "Play QSF MPG" button which will launch VideoReDo and open the file for editing.

I am trying to load it into video redo. I bought the dvd Casino royale and want to make a back up copy. I used any dvd to decript the dvd and would like to edit out all the unwanted stuff. I tried to get all the vobs. but In video redo it only copies about 8 vobs and then stalls. I tried your program copy dvd and I am only allowed to insert one vob. Is it possible to insert all vobs at the same time or do i have to input them one at a time. Thanks

The DVD copy program is designeds for home recorded DVDs that only contain one video and one audio track.

You are attempting to edit VOBs which which may contain a variety of different resolutions. You also may be attempting to include VOBs which are menus and not video.
