Wot no Audio ?

Had a short holiday in New Zealand recently with my Canon camcorder & tieclip microphone.

On return to OZ, DL the results from MiniDV to MPG - so can edit in VRD - but found NO sound. The external microphone had not worked & the mini plug had "switched off" the internal mike.

Does anyone know of software that will allow me to "Record" a soundtrack and then incorporate this in to the video ?

Had a look at Nero & Roxio but could not locate a method there.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Here's a bit of a workaround.

You could play the video and record simultaneously in Audacity or Sound Recorder.

Mux your audio and video with Imago or mplex.

Edit with VideoReDo.
