I just bought this after trying out the trial version. This software really does what I need it to, very easily and with excellent results.
I recently bought a TV card for my PC and have been merrily recording TV shows (UK, DVB-T) for a while now. However I was having lots of problems putting them onto DVD - even with re-encoding editors I would find that the audio sync would drift over the course of the programme. This is because when you record OTA DVB-T, you end up with a few small errors here and there which aren't noticeable when viewing the files in VLC or something. There is sync data present which allows VLC to resync as it's playing. Unfortunately, *all* the other video editing programs I tried are unable to use this data when they generate the final DVD image - even going so far as to crash NeroVision when it's making the image.
I was getting incredibly frustrated!
This software allows me to quickly edit out any commercials and trim start and end of programmes then produce a CORRECT mpeg file which I can import into any of my DVD creation suites and make a movie disk which works.
I realise there is freeware available to do most of this, but it's complicated and you need quite a few separate steps.
