So here's the situation :
1) I live in PAL territory (25fps, 720x576 resolution)
2) I use MCE quite a lot
3) English is not my native language.
What I am now trying to do is burn a DVD of an episode of Panorama (BBC).
I am using VideoReDo for cutting out the padding at the beginning and at the end of the recording.
This works fine.
However, I also want to get the Teletext closed captions in there, and make sure they are shown in a standard DVD player.
How do I go about those ones ?
I understand you can do it by using IFOEDIT and to enable Line 21 for NTSC DVD's, however this is a PAL MPEG, and that option is greyed out there.
So is there a way to convert the closed captions to SRT format (subtitles) for example ?
Or can they be always displayed on a standard DVD player ?
