I am currently taking AVIs of TV shows (in PAL) and burning them to DVD usin g NeroVision. Currently, I take two 50-minute episodes, select my own background and use the default menu template. Nothing fancy so far. Problem is that when I play back the DVD in my normal player, the A/V often goes way out of sync, sometimes only after about 30-35 minutes in.
Question: Would VideoReDo resolve this problem or is it something more fundamental?
Thanks

Forgot to mention: files play back OK on my PC
VideoReDo does not import AVI files.
You would need to convert it first to MPEG2 type files since your destination is a DVD.
A workaround for you since you are authoring to a DVD is let Nero convert the files to a DVD folder, then import the VOBs and manually adjust the sync with VideoReDo, then reauthor a DVD.
You could also use another program to convert to MPEG, then edit and adjust sync (if necessary) with VideoReDo.

I was planning on using WinAVI to convert to MPEG2 first
After converting with WinAVI, load the file into VideoReDo.
If the file plays in-sync, perform your edits and save the new file. VideoReDo will automatically adjust the file if necessary.
If you hear the audio out of sync, you can manually adjust the file. Click on the menu Tools>Adjust Audio.
