Well, when the video was loaded into VideoReDo, press Ctrl-L and get the specs for the video and audio.
Paste that into your next post, and we'll get an idea what you are working with.

Did you have sound when you edited in VideoReDo ?

What tools did you use to make the DVD? What authoring program; what was your proceedure?

Did you confirm if there was audio in the edited output file in VideoReDo? (Not in the new authored DVD.)

This is a little embarrassing , but still pretty funny...

I've authored 100's of little home-discs in the last several years.
Recently, I whipped out a project with three videos on it.
When I test-played it, the first show didn't have sound.

I have VideoReDo output mpa/mpv (audio and video) files for the next step in authoring DVDs.
After back tracking through the build process, I realized I'd forgotten to drag that one sound track to the proper place in my authoring program.
A simple drag/drop, and another 10 minute authoring run, and I was back in business.

Good thing I check my work, eh? :D

edit:
I see we posted about the same time.
On your audio , I see it's AC3.
Will your authoring program handle AC3? Some won't.
Also, is your playback device set up to play AC3? Should be.

As Anole mentioned check that the program can handle AC3.

Also a quick test is to save the audio as MPEG by clicking the Options button in the file save dialog box.

I do not see a website listed for the product "xoom dvd creator."

Personally, I despise web sites that force you to have a flash player to get past their front door!
For those of you who agree, here's the back door to the xoom site:
http://www.x-oom.com/index2.html

And I assume this Video On DVD is the product we are talking about?
http://www.x-oom.com/usa/products/videosondvdSUB.htm
I didn't see much in the way of helpful info, nor specs for the product...
