Who actually makes use of DFTC?

This post has been inspired by a thread in the beta forums that regards DFTC in NTSC video.

Who here actually works in an environment where DFTC makes a difference? Would you mind explaining what it is you are doing with VR?

This is just to satisfy idle curiosity, so no wars please.

I use it in all my DV editing in Vegas. I need to in order to keep the time correct, this is important when working on 3 camera shoots. Don't care at all whether VRD supports it or not as it's totally irrelevant to my VRD editing needs [trimming TV shows to get rid of unwanted material].
