Recently I have had several commercial DVDs ripped with DVD Fab Decrypter HD that do not display or autocombine in VRD correctly.

I have 'Autocombine' sequential file names enabled. When I open the decrypted DVD, which is on HDD, using the first vob, VRD displays just 14secs of the video. If I ignore that and do Save As an mpeg file it will create an mpeg that is missing the last vob. I have tried using v512 thru v533 with the same result.

If I take the same decrypted file and create an ISO image using Imgburn and then load the ISO image into VRD, VRD will create the complete mpeg file.

Any ideas on what may be happening?

Check out the .Vlst file created by the autocombine and see if it contains all the VOBs. Also in 533 I would suggest using the Open DVD Title which should actually work even better.

I will look at the .Vlst file, however I did try the Open DVD Title in v533 as well as in v512 and that did not help.

I realize that DVD Fab Decrypter HD is doing something different or may have some sort of random mess up but I thought someone might have an explanation as to what it might be.

Is there any clue in the fact that only 14secs shows in VRD?

Did you try running QSF. When you open a VOB and only get a few seconds displayed QSF will often fix it.
