I can create a DVD with no problem using VideoRedo, but I don't have audio when played on my primary DVD player. It is connected to a home theater system and in order to get audio I have to change the DVD player audio settings from Bitstream to PCM. I also have a standalone DVD recorder and the audio is fine using Bitstream when I play them. Is there an audio setting in VideoRedo I need to change? Thanks.

What is the source of your video files? What capture device do you use?

What are the file properties? Load a file into VideoReDo and press Ctrl+L, press the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the results here.

It may be that your DVD player needs to have a special setting to handle MPEG audio streams. MPEG audio is not part of the DVD standard in NTSC land, but is in PAL. We've found that 99.9% of the DVD players will handle it just fine. We are looking at adding AC3 (dolby digital) conversion to TVSuite, but its not yet in place.

Thanks. Could it be my home theater receiver that is the problem? I can play these DVDs on other players using BitStream, but they connect directly to the TV, there is no receiver through which the A/V passes, no surround sound. I have had some difficulty understanding all the settings on the receiver. If I could connect the player directly to the TV I might be able to play them even using BitStream, but that's a pain to change, and not the way I would ultimately want it anyway.
