Are you recoding the video? If so, then try build 546 (just posted) as it has a fix for corrupt video.

When you say you've tried 5 times, is it always the same file with the same cuts or all files that you've tried? How long after you start the save does the problem occur?

the GOP is set to recode at 15 frames - and it says it wll recode - how do i stop that ? set GOP to 0 ?

I never changed that setting.. all I am trying to do is save a video to vob/iso/dvd and it fails everytime.

it gets about halfway through and then the " send error message to microsoft" comes up.

Yes it is the same file, I keep tryng, I will try another file and see what happens.

Maybe I can save you some time. Please email the log file to us at support @ videoredo.com. Mention this topic in the subject.

Thanks.

Well I started it off the same file again (this time with the updated version 546) to create an iso file when I left home this morning and it got further than it has before so I will check it when I get home,

hopefully there will be a complete error-free iso file waiting for me :)

nope

got home and th same error message came up again ..

I am trying it with a different file now to see if that worked, it might be an error in the saved project so I am trying a different mpg

Well it seems - I have tracked the problem down to the GOP recoding

I tried to make the iso without the minor recoding for dvd complaince and it completed sucessfully, whether the proposed dvd will be playable is something I am yet to find out
