How can I edit files from my standalone DVD recorder?
VideoReDo can be used to edit files created by standalone home DVD recorders.
To do this you can use the Combine feature in VideoReDo or an additional program to extract the program information from the DVD to your hard drive. In addition, TVSuite include the capability to import titles directly from your home-recorded DVD or DVD folder.
Some DVDs may have non-sequential time stamps. VideoReDo can handle most of these situations automatically, but occasionally it will have problems opening or navigating these VOBs. This situation can easily be remedied by running Tools>QuickStream Fix against the VOB file(s) before editing with VideoReDo.
