Windows XP Pro SP1
Athlon XP 2200
MSI6378 Mainboard w/ SiS650 Video
1GB RAM
VideoReDo Version: 1.5.0.200 on trial key.
Every time I load an MPEG file the time counter beneath the video window begins counting up. Nothing else seems to be happening and the counting does not stop at the duration of the file, it just keeps counting! While it's doing this the program is extremely unresponsive. The only way I've been able to stop this is to start dragging the slider or navigating in the file.
Any idea what's going on here? I'm assuming this can't be normal behaviour, but as it stands I just can't go any further with evaluating VideoReDo because that one behaviour is enough to send my blood pressure through the roof :)
**EDIT*** OK, cancel that. That was stupid of me. It's the option to automatically play video when opened, although why it plays only a black screen instead of actually playing the video when every other program I have plays these files fine is perhaps another issue. I suppose I could question why auto-play is the default setting for an editor anyway, even though it is easily changed ...
