I don't know if it is my modestly set-up computer or some defaults not set correctly, but I find that when I load a 1080i file I have problems.
A standard 720p file loads and edits without problem.
When I load a 1080i file the first thing that happens is the P/V screen goes white and all extra information on the screen disappears. After a second or two the cut list dialogue and the time dialogues appear.
The file starts to run then after a few more seconds the buttons start to appear and lastly the slider bar appears. At this stage the file has been running about 6 to 10 seconds. When I try to stop the file the stop button will not stop the file running. After trying to stop it a number of times it will finally stop but it takes many tries.
I did not have this problem when using redo plus.
My modest system is Celeron 2.66 with 768mb ram.
Is it my system or is there something I can tweak?
