Resizing Fine Slider does not work

Thank you for implementing the Resizing Fine Slider option, but it does not seem to work.

I set up this option to True, but when I maximize the window, the slider remains the same size.

Am I missing something obvious?

Tools>Options>Startup set application background to TVSuite.

I set up the slider value to 110s from its previous 60s value.

When the window is maximized, I have the same granularity, with almost twice the range.
