Beta 552 muxing issue

It was with great anticipation that I downloaded 552 and read the change log - close captioning is supported!
Drove it around the block with a .ts that I had just converted into DVD two days ago to see if it would work.
Got a flat tire when 552 got to the muxing. Started over, same problem. Any thing I'm missing?

Logfile below (can upload portion of .ts - it did convert to DVD fine in 551). Thanks for the effort.

How large is the VOB created in the folder when it crashed?

We've been able to reproduce it here. Its related to the new closed caption support, but we are not quite sure what exactly is going on. I'll post 553 tomorrow which will have an option to disable CC support when authoring. That will at least let you get around the problem for now.

Beta 553 did the trick - cc came through like a champ. One small problem is that the cc was garbled in the 4 minute intro. to the 1 1/2 hour long show - was okay in the body of the show (from random chapter viewing). Will investigate different .ts streams and report back.

This is the first time (w/553) that I've been able to 'see' the cc and then only after I take a .ts and convert it to DVD and watch it via a player and tv.

So you cannot determine if the original TS file had garbled CC to begin with?

No. The only way I can check if the orginal .ts file was bad in the first four minutes with B553 is to check another similar .ts, create the DVD to file, and view it. If the same four minute intro in the test .ts is not garbled, by inference my original .ts was not good in that particular section. If it is garbled in the same section, then I decide if I can live with it or test another similar .ts to rule out B553 as the culprit. Hopefully I'll have the time to do that soon.

Tried it with another, similar .ts and it garbled the cc in the short intro., but the body of the show was spot on. I can live with it.
