I get the yellow triangle again with Beta 553 during muxing. It's stuck on that message, and, as I write this, burning has not even initialized.

Is this related to the closed-captioning issue?
I just had this trying to author a DVD that crashed 552. I'm retrying it with the Manual Option "Keep CC" set to False.

I had the same yellow triangle fault.
I started the compilation when I went to bed and found the error message in the morning.
It appears that the job was stuck on the first of 9 MS-DVR files (with CCs).
There was one, 1 Gig tmp file in the TEMP folder.
Try turning off CCs in the Tools>Shift+Options to see if that helps.
Were any VOBs created? How large were the VOBs?

Update. I'm able to do a burn, but according to the program, it wasn't successful, even though the disk plays in my DVD player with CCs. I'm getting another error message now. Right when burning is finished, the disk is ejected and it says "Error writing disk!"

The VOBs are 84.0 KB, 0.97 GB, 535 MB, and 0.97 GB. I'll send you the log file via email. Thanks, Pat.

I just tried a couple test cases.
I used two files from the failed compile.
I didn't make any changes to the bit rate and it compiled OK (and fast too).
I repeated the test changing the bit rate to 2.25 and the failure recurred.
I'll try any other tests or send the log file if needed.
Doug
Which error recurred, the muxing error or the write error?
Please email the log file to support @ videoredo.com, mention topic=6118 in the subject.

In reply to your email, Dan, I didn't change the bit rate to 2.25. That was DougInAZ. Of course, I can see where the confusion lies, since Doug was one of two posters (hikent being the other) who hijacked my thread.
Any word on the cause of the problem and a possible fix? Thanks, my friend.

We're working with the supplier of our burning library to get this fixed ASAP. We believe we've figured out the cause of the issue and they're working on it now to get it ironed out. As soon as I get a new build from them I'll post a new build of the burner so you guys can try it out and see if it fixes the issue.

I get an issue like this except I'm not trying to burn. I get it when editing some dvdr-ms files.
You get the yellow triangle during editing or saving?
What format are you saving the DVR-MS files as?
What version of VideoReDo?

It seems to happen alot more when I use the joiner trying to join a few dvdr-ms edits and then saving as MPG. But 1 of them did save on its own without the joiner, the other I had to run it through quickstream fix.
So I'm saving them into MPG and I'm using the latest beta 553.
Since QSF will resolve it, it sounds like there may be something corrupt in the file so you need to process the file with QuickStream Fix first.

yes I had the dreaded triangle and stuck muxing today... after a quickstream fix into a .mpg too. oh well. did a save of edited program into elementary streams and then authored with another program, which worked. Sorry deleted the input file and log.
halsboss, please email us your videoredo.log file to support @ videoredo.log. The log file can be accessed from the videoredo help menu.
Thanks.
