Vista Media Player Audio Problem

I used VideoReDo for the first time to combine several VOB files into one and convert to MPEG. The video and audio play fine in Nero Showtime. However, in the Vista media player the audio is playing ahead of the video. Can anyone advise on how to correct? Thank you.

Are you using Vista media center or the media player? If the meda center then you should save the file in a DVR-MS format. That should fix the problem.

If the media player than the problem is more complex. You have a bad or buggy codec in your directshow chain. Curing that is more complex. You might want to download a quality codec, like the Elecard / Moonlight one to see if that fixes the problem. Or you can use another media player like Windows Media Player Classic or VLC.

Finally, one thing you can try if you have VideoReDo TVSuite is to go to Tools>Options>Stream Parameters and check "Set header to video bit rate". Then resize the file.
