Beta 553 crash with long file

Beta 553 will crash when a .mpg file 5,289,696 KB and 5,293,440 KB is loaded. This does not happen with Videoredo plus using the same files.

Just wanted to let you know there is a problem.

How did you capture the file? I doubt its related to the length if could be something else though. Please don't delete the file.

these are 2 separate files captured from television shows. They play well with windows media player and will edit with redu plus.

the kb given were the file sizes.

Please try Beta 554. If that crashes, how about the current TVSuite release build?

Also, does it crash while opening, or later in the process?

The mpg files would crash the video redu program while the files were opening

with beta 554 the files will open and I can edit parts of the files but the final saved file has garbled video (just random pixels) but the audio if fine.
These shows were OTA digital recording of about 2 hours duration saved in mpg format.

I did the qsf thing and it did not help
