The message was "Can't find AC3 audio frame header" and then it bombed during DVDcreation.

I'm about ready to give up on DVD Suite, sync errors in 552/3 and now this.

Videoredo was reliable but DVD creation in Suite just isn't.

Please recall that 555 (and 552/553) are "beta" releases. That means they work in tests, but haven't been used enough to shake out all the bugs yet. The purpose of a beta version is to let a pool of friendly users run the program in lots of circumstances so they can find and report bugs.

I mean no disrespect, and I'm just a user so I don't speak for the company, but if you need greater reliability, perhaps it would be best to stick to stable releases rather than trying out beta versions.

I'm using b555 and seeing no problems in processing video with and without AC3 frames. This included recently taking HD 1920x1088 recordings and recoding them to fit on a DVD.

I've burnt 8 or so DVD's in the last day without any issues.

Perhaps describing in more detail the files you are using as input and any other peculiarities, and the guys at DRD may be able to spot either a bug, or point to the problem with your setup etc etc

Sorry for being grumpy.

I was a bit fed up with recent beta problems, sync in particular.

With videoredo I had got used to never checking, it never gave me sync problems.

I have nothing but praise for the support that comes with these products.

I am not about to give up on TVSuite.

We too hate when sync problems appear in betas.

If you getting audio frame not found in 555, then please upload a short segment of the file that replicates the problem to our FTP site. Use Tools>Trim and copy and then send us an email telling us the location of the file.

Thanks.
