I haven't used TV Suite since some of the early beta versions and decided to register for the upgrade and downloaded V555. My new Dell D630 laptop has been running without problems.
Yesterday, I set VRD to make a DVD which required recoding. When I came back to it about 15 minutes later, I was confronted by a blue screen (Windows crash).
I tried again today after closing other programs. It ran OK for about 10 minutes but crashed immediately after I selected the Abort button while it was recoding.
Has anyone else had a problem?
Any suggestions?

A BSOD is most likely an indication of a driver problem.

Given that you are causing it using VRD, it is likely either a graphics or sound driver issue.

I'd start by making sure that the graphics and sound drivers are up to date on your laptop.

Then you can try some of the different playback options in VRD, set via the Tools menu>Options>Playback Devices settings page. Change either/both of the video driver that is selected, and the audio device, and see if that makes a difference.
