First off, I am not a novice at performing videos. I am only trying to take a simple recorded tv and remove commercials, and burn to a dvd. VDR seems to have a problem if this is done in another format before burning using VDR. I have used Lifeextender, and had problems with frames freezing. I just tried DVRMST today succesully for the first time, and thought this would be my answer. It was worse than Lifeextender. The last 15 minutes of my program were not watchable. I am using the free show analyzer with DVRMST at the moment. I also converted to mpeg with the program before saving to a DVD. My show started out fine, but the problems started a little about half way through.
I do really enjoy VDR, but to remove commercials, I just cannot rely on it, without having to edit the de-commercialization. I am using the latest version. I tried the quickstream fix with lifeextender, and it made no difference.
I understand lifeextender does not support MCE XP, which I am using. I can understand that, but DVRMST I believe does.
Am I just destined to manual editing?
