videoredo is great but one problem I have is -when i make a dvd it takes about 3 hrs to make one -why is this when other programs take about 30 mins.

If your video is roughly DVD compliant and will fit on the DVD, you should check "Accept non-compliant DVD settings" on the Create DVD window.
