Timeline not correct in VOBs

When I open aVOB , in this example, I mark the start at 54 seconds. I then slide the bar or advance using the button to the end, which is 1 hour 21 min. However, the timeline reads 11 minutes! When I save the file, the beginning is correct, but the end is at least 5 minutes short. If I copy the VOB file and reanme it to MPG, all works fine. Is this a known problem, or are there different settings to use when opening a VOB??

BTW I saved the MPG as a VOB, perfect.

You should preprocess the VOB file through QuickStream Fix first. Tools>QuickStream Fix

Thanks so much for the help Pat. I will try the other program later, but for now I am only working with single VOB files.
