I have not been able to successfully burn a dvd yet. I am recording video via satellite dish with my Hauppauge 1600 tv tuner card. I am using GB-PVR recording software. I am recording at 2000 bit rate with a peak rate of 2700. I am recording blocks of classes that I need to split up. In scene mode I select the beginning and end of the class, I choose Add selection, and then Add title to Dvd. When I am done with the classes I choose Create DVD. I then have tried to create the video TS file and burn dvd. It tells me that it will take 5 1/2 hours!! I let it run for a bit and sure enough, it seems to really need that much time. My files vary in size from 2.7 G to 4 G.
