Ok, I know Media Player is not the favorite player by anyone's standards, but hey my wife loves it. Simple, quick loading, doesn't change screen resolution, skins, quite simply this is what she wants to use to watch the soaps I tape and remove commercials from for her. :D
What I was wondering is that I can't fast forward and fast rewind in WMP, although I know it's just a shell for what's installed on the machine in terms of codecs.
Keeps telling me my MPEG2 files should be indexed. Strange, since the decoders I have on my machine all seem to be from either Hauppauge or WinDVD. MS site keeps telling me the same thing too. Index your files. All other sources of information keep telling me to use something else. :D
